Airblue was founded in 2003 through the vision and entrepreneurial partnership of Mr. Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Mr. Tariq Chaudhary. Mr. Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, who serves as Airblue's Chief Operating Officer, played an instrumental role in establishing the airline and guiding its early growth. Alongside him, Mr. Tariq Chaudhary, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, brought extensive expertise in technology, systems development, and corporate management, helping shape Airblue into one of Pakistan's most innovative and technologically advanced airlines.
