The Managing Director (MD) serves as the accountable executive of an airline and head of overall strategic direction, leadership, and operational management of the airline. Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: - Develop and execute the airline's strategic vision and long-term business objectives in alignment with the leadership and the Board of Directors. - Lead the airline's growth and expansion initiatives, including network development, partnerships, and market positioning. - Monitor industry trends and adapt strategies to remain competitive in a dynamic aviation market.

Stakeholder and Board Relations: - Provide regular updates to the leadership and the Board of Directors on operational performance, financial health, and strategic initiatives. - Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including shareholders, government agencies, and industry partners.
Required Qualifications: Education: - Bachelors degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. - A Masters degree (e.g., MBA) or professional aviation certification is preferred.
Experience: - Minimum of 15 years of experience in the aviation industry, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. - Proven track record of managing airline operations, regulatory compliance, and business growth

Route Development and Network Planning: - Analyze and expand Airblues route network based on demand, profitability, and regulatory permissions. - Engage with Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority and other government bodies to secure approvals for new routes and operational changes.
Regulatory Compliance and Governance: - Ensure all commercial operations align with National Aviation Policy, competition laws, and consumer protection policies. - Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards as mandated by aviation authorities. - Act as the primary liaison for regulatory bodies concerning commercial matters.
